Covered Areas and Porches
A covered area extending outwards from a standard builing is
usually the result of a certain need of a customer. Thus, a
covered area or porch is usually designed around the needs of the
customer and such a feature can be modified to fit those needs. The
building pictured above not only has a 1' overhang
completely around the building, it also has a covered area 10' out
from the endwall at the front of the building, which serves as
an excellent place to work on a vehicle during a rain shower.
This building has a 1' overhang completely around the building,
but also a 12' lean that runs the length of the building,
which allows for a easy place to park the tractor.
